I played little league at these fields as a
kid and saw them sit vacant for the
years that followed. I’m a friend and co-
worker of Cle Ross and it’s been truly
amazing to see the progress of this
non-profit organization over the last 4
years. The people involved sincerely
care about helping these kids learn life
lessons as well as the game of
baseball. I regret that I haven’t done
more and hope to volunteer my time
moving forward.
Best of luck!

Without your hard work, your
cooperation or your support, KCK RBI
achievements would hardly have been
imaginable. We are grateful to Cle Ross
and coaches for always approaching
the tasks in a collaborative way with
tremendous flexibility – no matter the
task in question On behalf of the staff
and volunteers who represented KCK
RBI during the season of 2010, I want to
thank you once again for the wonderful
support and contribution you made to
the overwhelming success of the
program.

My name is Chris Niday and I’ve been a
little league baseball mom for over 10
years. My family was extremely
impressed with the KCK RBI program.
The dedication of the staff, parents,
and umpires is superb. Our family is
proud to have supported this program
and will do so in the future. The
progression of not only skill level but
maturity, pride, and sportsmanship that
evolved through the season was
visible by anyone near the program.

We as a family look forward to
supporting this program and its
leaders in the future.

I began getting involved with the KCK RBI program from the get-go. I believed in Executive Director Cle Ross and his
vision of bringing summer baseball to the kids of KCK. I helped raise money through fund raisers and equipment drives.
Believe me when I say it was no easy task!  Our season was a huge success. By July the kids were hitting balls to the
outfield. They were throwing, catching, hitting and running the bases as if they'd been playing their whole life. The players
formed friendships with each other and even with "Coach Jason".  I say with great pride that I helped get KCK RBI off the
ground. I hope I can make a difference in their lives. The sky is the limit for this program and I will continue to do my part to
help these kids learn the game of baseball.
Sincerely,

KCK RBI is a program that enriches the lives of under privileged kids.  This program provides skills that create confidence,
self esteem and self worth.   Most importantly, it creates a positive and safe environment for kids that may not otherwise
have access to that.  Led by Cle Ross, I know his God given gift and heart is in creating a healthy positive environment for
these kids, helping them strive for excellence and giving them hope for a great future. Cle has a combined a group of
dedicated coaches and volunteers that are invaluable to this program and the kids’ growth.
I would highly recommend this program!

Cle Ross has done a remarkable job on a shoestring. He has a very active board but he needs balls, gloves, bats &
catcher's equipment. I am sure he could use some cash donations also to help fix up the complex at 50th & Parallel(the old
3 & 2). Parks & Rec partnered with the RBI program by providing game & practice fields. Neighborhood churches did a
huge cleanup at the complex but so much damage had been done while the complex sat vacant that there is quite a bit of
electrical & plumbing work still need to be done, Cle and his board had over 350 kids participate this year. One of the
highlights was a free softball clinic with the ladies of the Professional Fast Pitch Softball League at Regan Field. Numerous
Olympic softball players helped conduct the clinic as well as members of the UMKC Women's softball team.
Help Cle help our kids.

Hats off to you Cle Ross! We have seen your vision and you have our support! What you are doing for our kids in this
community is amazing! We looked for a home for so long to play baseball and we finally found it.
We have been around baseball for a long time and never have we felt more welcome than we do here. I can not wait until
season begins again.

I want to thank Cle Ross for all he does for the youth in the community. I have done what I could to help Cle with the RBI
program and would encourage everybody in the area to do so.

Cle Ross...I just wanted to take a moment to tell you that it is truly an honor to know you!!!!  You have that special spark that
this world is lacking. I firmly believe in the pay it forward concept and you my friend embrace and practice this everyday.
You are a truly blessed individual!!!!

Someone actually stop talking and start doing. I'm guilty of it, too, and he has definitely inspired me to start putting my words
into action when it comes to Wyandotte County." "I honestly believe he has begun to give the citizens of the Dotte
something to be proud of. When that happens the snowball effect takes place, you begin to see improvements in the city as
a whole not just baseball, and that's how cities get replenished -- pride. It's a definite start to trying to rejuvenate baseball in
the state of Kansas. "It's an honor (stadium naming) of unbelievable proportions. I honestly have no words for it."
